Property sales have continued their fifteen-month downward spiral in Cyprus according to contracts deposited at Land Registries. The biggest falls in sales (up to 41% compared to the same time last year) are in Paphos and Nicosia, while sales are up in Famagusta and Limassol (up to 43%) according to the Department of Land and Surveys in Cyprus. A total of 5,317 homes were sold during the first nine months of 2011; down 17.5% compared to last year.
